Ladies, are you tired of looking at the same summer clothes yet? Or can you imagine your thoughts come early March about those same winter clothes you’ve been wearing for a few months? Feel like you’ve run out of new options, but can’t quite afford to go out and purchase all new? Well, a group of Elgin gals who feel the same way as you have decided to do something about it…and best of all, for a good cause! 
Introducing Frock Swap: a chance for you to turn in your gently used clothes, shoes or bags that you think ladies 13-30 would want, get some tickets, and get early access to the Frock Swap event on Thursday, August 6 to redeem your tickets for some other fashionable pieces that other area ladies have decided to pass along. Clothing will all be scrutinized according to their guidelines, and you can bring up to 10 items total.

- Clothing Drop Of Dates: August 3, 5:30- 7:30 pm; August 4, 9 am – 12 pm; August 5, 7-9 pm
- Frock Swap Date: Thursday, August 6, 6-8 pm swapper shop; 8-9:30 pm anyone can shop
- Admission cost: $10, proceeds go to Community Crisis Center
- Location: Sears Gallery at Elgin Academy, 350 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120
- Food, beverages and water will also be sold.
- If you don’t have anything to give up, you can still come shop from 8-9:30pm using cash to purchase.
